Money Laundering
Definition of Money Laundering
According to the Irish Financial Services Regulatory Authority (IFSRA), suspicion of money laundering exists when funds from a suspected illegal activity are transacted through the financial system in such a way as to make it appear that the funds have come from legitimate sources.
Squared Financial® Services Limited will do all in its power to identify and report any suspected attempts by money launderers.
Squared Financial® Services applies guidelines and recommendations provided by IFSRA, the Irish regulatory body, and for this purpose has incorporated stringent client registration and acceptance procedures such as obligatory valid proof of identification and a compliance program to deter, detect and report potential suspicious money laundering activities in client accounts.
