Philippe Ghanem - Chief Executive Officer
The founding member of Squared Financial®, Philippe has a wealth of experience in trading a variety of financial instruments, as well as core asset and fund management. Philippe holds a Bachelor of Business Administration Degree from the International University of Geneva, Switzerland.
John Miles - General Manager
John started his career with Barclays Bank PLC in London in 1984 but soon moved on to investment banking when he joined the Canadian securities firm Wood Gundy in 1986. He stayed at Wood Gundy though its purchase by CIBC in 1988, where he worked on the institutional equities desk. In 1997 when CIBC World Markets bought Oppenheimer Inc. in the U.S. John became Head of Institutional Equities for the European region. He remained in this position until October 2002. John and his family moved to Ireland in 2005 and he remained actively involved in the financial industry as a consultant until Squared Financial persuaded him to return full time to the markets in June 2009. John has a B.Sc.(Hons) in Economics from University of Wales Cardiff.
